How much you are able to give…
This is the measure of the gift within you.
We are all gatekeepers to each others’ soul.
There is only one (sole) soul.
Love is the eye that sees the Soul,
through the light of a shimmering tear.
So thank you for every tear;
they have helped me to open my
torn heart.
Now ink drips from my eyes onto a page meant to heal
these torn hearts of ours.
We are all scarred….
The healers are the ones who let the scars break open.

dear heart
should I mock you
or weep with you
such an innocent little fool you are!
in the whirlwinds of storm,
you withstood the freezing cold
in the heat of blazing fire,
you got pricked by thorns
knowing well whats coming next
you still teeter along!
with this tenderness, this strength
fearlessness and this craziness
where from?
I give you reasons
but you throw them away
I try to sit you down
but you want to break into dance and sway
ah what was whispered to you
that you’ve grown these wings
which nectar once quenched your thirst
that you run around looking for sweetness
what image do you behold
whose beauty makes you wild in ecstasy
only if someday I could trick you
into believing me
only if one day, I could show you the difference
between the black and gold
the pieces and the whole
if that day comes
would you still bother to keep beating?
