quest
of all the places you could go
of all the adventures
that come with being alive
being human
in its truest essence
is the hardest journey
you and I
will ever undertake
full circle
with each turn
opened a new universe
sweat, tears, hopes, dreams
all had their way
a birth and a death
in each experience
only love and learning
has remained
that journey now
has reached completion
and new horizons await
understanding
each experience
that connects me
back to the Source
offers a glimpse
into my true self
kintsugi
tell me
about the ways
in which you are human
flawed, broken, vulnerable
and all you have endured
in this thing called life
I promise
I will show you
there is beauty
in that brokenness
that makes you
more lovable in my eyes
more precious in my heart
than any illusion
of ‘perfect’
ever will
I will continue
to love you
despite your scars
I will love you
more
for them
oneness
I looked for you
and couldn’t find a trace
now the search
has ended
and we meet laughing
at every place I go
in every face I behold
🍂
we all die
many times, in myriad ways
before the physical death
in the dissolution of a dream
in the passing of a loved one
at the hands of a lover
yet with each spring
life is renewed
in the same place
it collapsed
from the source
that is Eternal
I hear
the leaves dance
in the autumn wind
falling
weightlessly
as if
in a trance
gently reminding me
it is not death
that I should fear
but celebrate spring
that never fails
to keep its promise
applause
to the one
who took their time
to honour life
on a sidewalk
this morning
you give me hope
in a world
that has often failed
to recognize
its own kind
destiny
First, to seek love
Then, to be love.
This is our becoming.

adrift
I wandered with a hunger
that only your love
satisfied.
Secrets unveiled with time
pure gratitude remained
for all that I was denied.
As the vision got clearer
chaos collapsed, doors opened
even those I never knew.
Now I keep finding myself
lost in the mystery
that is You.
