thoughts
quest
of all the places you could go
of all the adventures
that come with being alive
being human
in its truest essence
is the hardest journey
you and I
will ever undertake
full circle
with each turn
opened a new universe
sweat, tears, hopes, dreams
all had their way
a birth and a death
in each experience
only love and learning
has remained
that journey now
has reached completion
and new horizons await
saudade
if only
you could see
what I see in you
hear what
I cannot say
you are
what no words
can contain
like all that is sacred
treasured, in my heart
you remain
you are..
you are to me
more than a story
more than a memory
seeker
as you awaken
to the Truth
of who you really are
anything and everything
that is not real
crumbles away
kintsugi
tell me
about the ways
in which you are human
flawed, broken, vulnerable
and all you have endured
in this thing called life
I promise
I will show you
there is beauty
in that brokenness
that makes you
more lovable in my eyes
more precious in my heart
than any illusion
of ‘perfect’
ever will
I will continue
to love you
despite your scars
I will love you
more
for them
One soul poem

How much you are able to give…
This is the measure of the gift within you.
We are all gatekeepers to each others’ soul.
There is only one (sole) soul.
Love is the eye that sees the Soul,
through the light of a shimmering tear.
So thank you for every tear;
they have helped me to open my
torn heart.
Now ink drips from my eyes onto a page meant to heal
these torn hearts of ours.
We are all scarred….
The healers are the ones who let the scars break open.

for a moment
stop believing
what they want
you to believe
what hurts you
hurts the other
we all stem
from the same essence
born with hearts to love
and hands to heal
let’s build each other up
🍂
we all die
many times, in myriad ways
before the physical death
in the dissolution of a dream
in the passing of a loved one
at the hands of a lover
yet with each spring
life is renewed
in the same place
it collapsed
from the source
that is Eternal
I hear
the leaves dance
in the autumn wind
falling
weightlessly
as if
in a trance
gently reminding me
it is not death
that I should fear
but celebrate spring
that never fails
to keep its promise
applause
to the one
who took their time
to honour life
on a sidewalk
this morning
you give me hope
in a world
that has often failed
to recognize
its own kind
