quest
of all the places you could go
of all the adventures
that come with being alive
being human
in its truest essence
is the hardest journey
you and I
will ever undertake
seraphic flow
pour yourself
in me
till I am brimming
with you
flood in
a little more
till I overflow
with what a lifetime
can’t contain
as you slowly
trickle down my being
keep flowing in
till all I can feel
is you
when less
has been spoken
more has been heard,
take two steps closer
and revive me
with your touch
without a sound
awaken me
with your whisper
and remind me
what I have forgotten
remind me of you
with a paint brush then
consume me
in your painting
till I am one
with your colours
guiding me
with brushstrokes
take me home
pour
your
soul
into mine
overwhelm me

with each turn
opened a new universe
sweat, tears, hopes, dreams
all had their way
a birth and a death
in each experience
only love and learning
has remained
that journey now
has reached completion
and new horizons await
haven
in the realm of oneness
every thought
dawns like a blessing
stars crumble
into my lap
and dreams takes flight
understanding
each experience
that connects me
back to the Source
offers a glimpse
into my true self
saudade
if only
you could see
what I see in you
hear what
I cannot say
you are
what no words
can contain
like all that is sacred
treasured, in my heart
you remain
you are..
you are to me
more than a story
more than a memory

to the Truth

ever will
