tucked under
a blanket of clouds

the madness we caress
purity in your tears
treasure in these ruins,
and the futility of those fears
is it worth it, is it worth the pain?

enough of pain
darkness and blurred sight
come close, heed to my plight
I have burnt the blame
in a holy flame
lead me from the ashes
show me your light
dandelion kisses
sweeping glances
words of grace
such delicate torture
irrefutable
persuasion
of a lover
silent ecstasy
is it music of the waves
or ocean’s poem
liquid flowing lullaby
this prayer in passing
eluding me
into silent ecstasy
infinite mystery
you are here
yet you are nowhere
a feeling, a thought
between shadows and light
my wings and flight
you are a fathomless stirring
a beautiful confinement
in quiet murmuring
a tune that effortlessly sways
beyond an artist’s mood
or paradox of fate
you are the presence
that is aware
untamed in my tireless gaze
somewhere
secret voyage
dazzling days
mystic nights
over a tranquil lake
smooth lace
heaven’s embrace
alive in the vastness
of this deathless space

away from the army of grass
