illusion
kintsugi
tell me
about the ways
in which you are human
flawed, broken, vulnerable
and all you have endured
in this thing called life
I promise
I will show you
there is beauty
in that brokenness
that makes you
more lovable in my eyes
more precious in my heart
than any illusion
of ‘perfect’
ever will
I will continue
to love you
despite your scars
I will love you
more
for them
delusional veil
what a world of illusion you created
a world of maya
where forgetfulness and confusion is the norm
and people seek comfort in each other
trying protecting their wounds
taking each step with caution
not realizing all of us are beggars
with torn clothes and broken hearts
looking for the same gem
like a child
who is given toys
as a distraction
you filled the world
with forms and colors
shapes and feelings
that people spend their whole lives
to own, tolerate and as a tool to find meaning
one person’s hell
is another’s heaven
stepping on each others whims and desires
most people wander around with chains
tied around their necks and bodies
like slaves pulled in all directions
by society, by their own dreams
yet handful, just a handful
the lucky ones, the chosen ones
find liberation, find freedom
while trapped in this body
in this web of delusion!
spiritual birth
it is in moments
that one lives
lifetime is an illusion

imperfect illusion
remind me
how long I have been waiting
that familiar face
which speaks to me more than words do
that warm embrace
where I can die a thousand times
is it you at the door?
intimate longing
far beyond the illusion
of what they appear to be
two transparent souls, unending flow
weaving intricately, losing willingly
singing silently, caressing wildly
just a petty thought it is
.. or can it really be?
