rufescent gaze

Posted on Updated on

how beautifully strange
is stealing of flaming glances
with your beloved –
intoxication suffuses
from each pore
when those eyes dawn over you

time, space, sounds vanish
forgetfulness embraces
the world crumbles away
each sigh, every lament
all prayers answered

in the opening of hearts
enough is not enough
a sweet blossoming death
in every exchange

You share the power and the passion of your inner self – it is a beautiful and heady brew.
