on days like this

how I await your arrival
lost in space and time,
wandering between
the dead and the divine

where do I exist, dear Beloved?
one minute I am here
another, with you
what place do I call mine
this or that?
what is this space
separating yet binding us
where I stay
enchanted and scattered
like a million stars
reaching out to the Sun
rufescent gaze
how beautifully strange
is stealing of flaming glances
with your beloved –
intoxication suffuses
from each pore
when those eyes dawn over you
time, space, sounds vanish
forgetfulness embraces
the world crumbles away
each sigh, every lament
all prayers answered
tenfold
in the opening of hearts
enough is not enough
a sweet blossoming death
in every exchange

midnight epiphany
walking the path
beneath incandescent moonlight
as we share similar madness,
clarity pours
from another realm
the words that make us
ceaselessly
fill the space
between us
bathed
in the light
emanating
from our beings,
absorbed
in the thoughts
mirroring our essence,
we ascend
I pause briefly
in wonder
as time slips away
only to discover
how I would
give myself
in the fraction
of an instant
to enter
that state of oblivion
with you
again
intergalactic starscapes
lets disappear
infuse into each other
and reach heights where we can soar
spinning, flying around the sun
sing me your lullabies
and let me seduce you with my words
as we shoot across the space
travelling through the cosmic ocean
for when we were the stars
fields of supernovas orbited
around us
spilling illumined lustre
lets fly away
you and I
becoming each other’s wings
for it ain’t no ordinary love
its an odyssey of oneness
its a lifetime of ascension
