“Trees raise branches high, like arms in church to grateful sky”. These colors are beautiful, and the way the tree dramatically cuts the photo space in two is striking.

You are on a roll, another gem!
🙂 thank you Wendell!
Greetings,
I love this picture of a tree, with nerve-like branches, reaching up as if to feel the sky.
Thank you!
All good wishes,
robert
you’ll enjoy this Robert, I hold trees in sacred reverence esp. after reading this –
I think that I shall never see a poem lovely as a tree
a tree whose hungry mouth is prest against the earth’s sweet flowing breast
a tree that looks at God all day and lifts her leafy arms to pray
a tree that may in summer wear a nest of robins in her hair
upon whose bosom snow has lain who intimately lives with rain
poems are made by fools like me but only God can make a tree
– Joyce Kilmer
🙂
and thank you again for the lovely feedback, appreciate it deeply as always! I wish you a blessed day ahead!
What a lovely poem by Joyce Kilmer. Thanks so much for sharing it.
How funny that I was very recently hiking through the Joyce Kilmer Wilderness Area (relatively close to my home).
Hand on heart.
Excellent artistic expressions today with all these winter pictures!
thank you so much, appreciate that 🙂
Beautiful photo, I love the blue tinge of the light, it highlights the stark nature of the tree.
thanks a lot Brendan, happy to hear you liked it 🙂
