eternal presence
your scent
fills the air
I breathe
your maddening caress
imbues the thoughts
I concieve
we’re galaxies apart
yet you are the one
throbbing
in each beat
ivory reverence
let it diffuse
slowly, your wondrous
love-creased scent
perfuming your steps
as you come unbridled
like light flooding a dark room,
waves awashing the shore
let it taint
deeply, your lunatic
care-free innocence
ushering your touch
as you enwrap me
carrying me afloat,
even in free falling
swept away
my being
see how it aches
to feel your touch
your scent
how it lingers
to bring me back to you
your love
see how it flows
taking over –
all that is
all that ever has been
