on this path of Heart
a time will come
when you will bathe
in love
oozing from
every atom
of every corner
there will be no running away
from anything
because in surrender
you will receive
what was waiting for you
what was always yours
strangers will no longer appear
to be ‘strange’
and you will begin to see yourself
in every face you meet
trees, birds, flowers, heavens
will welcome you with laughter
and you will feel yourself
pulsating with the life force
that guides
every being into action
your core will expand
in that fuzzy warmth
and you will feel
deep, pure love
overflowing for yourself,
for every atom in existence
you will begin to see
how to hurt another
only means hurting
your own self
and how a small act
of reaching out
can turn a life around
you will delight in connecting
with everything you touch
and all that enters
the realm of your senses
that have now suddenly
come alive
while experiencing ‘life’
you will often drown
in a flood of laughter and tears
only to be reborn
again and again
in those sacred moments
this experience
will engrave itself
in every cell of your body –
a remembrance
of what you had forgotten
a shedding of all
this world made you believe
after the unveiling
of the Miracle of miracles
as you come home
to yourself
no ’other’ will remain
with every breath, my love
you will now begin to feel
a mergence
with the Infinite

many times, in myriad ways
before the physical death
in the dissolution of a dream
in the passing of a loved one
at the hands of a lover
yet with each spring
life is renewed
in the same place
it collapsed
from the source
that is Eternal
I hear
the leaves dance
in the autumn wind
falling
weightlessly
as if
in a trance
gently reminding me
it is not death
that I should fear
but celebrate spring
that never fails
to keep its promise
cadence
I trace you
in quiet moments
of love and madness
in a language
beyond words
for thoughts collapse
when lips part
and a hidden speech flows
from your soul to mine
I beckon you
to dream
for within you, my love
the shine of a million diamonds
is waiting to gleam
the likes of what
death cannot touch
and life cannot flee
I treasure
your most aching parts
for even though
we have loved and lost
we still believe
in the sheer enormity

or let me be annihilated

resounding particles
the sun rises

shows its might

the full moon
in all its beauty
waxes and wanes
how many times

and noticed all this change?
people walk into your life
play different roles
give you love
nourish your souls,
give you reasons
to shed tears
or to laugh
over the years!
but when their time comes
they go their way
leaving you
by yourself
just like the day you first came
you, mortal being
with immortal soul
few more years
or who knows how many days
or how many breaths
you have at stake
what did you do today
to make a heart smile
soothe someone’s ache?
what did you give away
that made you richer
than yesterday?
how did you please your Beloved
knowing, that in the end
its only between you and Him
did you pause to reflect, to think
or went about unaware, unconscious
like every other day
acting on your whims?

blessed are the moments when I am closer to you,
one with your song, neither you nor I remain
imbued in your fragrance, I leap forward to lose myself
to quench this unknown yet familiar thirst,
oh may it consume every little bit of me.
divine is that moment when your eternal peace sinks in
giving me sparkle wings and pouring down my soul,
it liberates me from this body
in no time I soar to heights beyond any wildest imagination
you ask why I await these moments with such eagerness
my dearest, who doesn’t want to feel alive
when they have been face to face with death at such a tender age
who doesn’t want to get a taste of what it feels like
to burn in the memory of their Beloved?
and isn’t the grass greener where it rains
love-crazed is my state, when this soul cries out to you
drenched in sweet-surrender,
and tending to an inner bud aspiring for a full bloom,
it desires nothing .. but the light of your sheer Presence
