I agree, the worst demons we could ever face are the ones created by our own psyche. I’m not winning everyday but the fortresses that I managed to build over the years have been holding up well, vulnerable but able to keep most negative forces from busting into my head’s happy space.
at least my dear

I have none,
but one,
continuous war
and self keep,
raging, waging, engaging,
the soul keep reneging
all promises made
until lights fade,
eyes turn red,
heart becomes numb,
and the brain is dead,
and I am I, no more
I can see a light
at the end
and it is a beautiful
smiling you
at heaven’s door
while a hell’s pariah,
will clean that floor
where your feet will touch,
it is not much,
however allows contentment,
that I knew someone,
who won,
many, not two or one,
battles, self rattles,
soul settles,
that it can smell,
sweet roses from
softest toes
removing woes
and becomes
my panacea to eternal pain

I wish on a falling meteor,
that a crater created lasting forever,
a beautiful soul reside amidst,
her unnerving words, failing to resist,
temptation to taste, in unwarranted haste,
those words and lips which speak the same,
the girl of the east, made western dame,
honey dripping tongue, bee in the name,
May fate makes reality the dream,
and I, poor I, see you beam, joyous scream,
flying in the wind, leaving all behind,
heaven on earth, infinity crater I find,
lady slumbers with fairies who sing,
words she speaks, and wishes she brings
to life, forever, until the day
when God ordains, curtain drops,
foolish humanity had its last hop
