adrift

Posted on Updated on

I wandered with a hunger
that only your love
satisfied.

Secrets unveiled with time
pure gratitude remained
for all that I was denied.

As the vision got clearer
chaos collapsed, doors opened
even those I never knew.

Now I keep finding myself
lost in the mystery
that is You.

    Himani,
Love the poem and the image that goes with it. Great pairing of the two.
I particularly like the ending as to me it has two potential meanings:
    “Now I keep finding myself
    lost in the mystery
    that is You.”

    Finding who you are
    and
Finding that you are still lost in the mystery

    Lovely poem, thanks for sharing.

    Peace,

    Stephen

Thank you Stephen, I am glad you liked it. Indeed it can have both meanings, I was contemplating on finding self through the Great Mystery that is when this flowed through 🙂

I wish you well and much love on your journey!

    Dear Himani,

Thank you for this post. I like so very much the meanings and the art. What a strikingly beautiful image of the water.

Somewhere from far away I’m remembering something said that we all wander in bewilderment with a hunger that only one Source can truly satisfy. Everything else we do is just distraction.

You are tapped into a wellspring of creativity.

    All good wishes,

    robert
