luminous dream
I wish I could write like the poets
who immortalize moments forever
they pick up a pen
and the poem writes for itself
I wish I could dance like the dervishes
who ecstatically lose themselves
in the rhythm that empties them of themselves
whirling, they reach the skies and touch the deepest oceans
I wish I could show you what I see
in the tickling laughter of a little child
in the touch of a delicate spirit
in the wilderness of nature
and the holy flight of a bird
I wish I could fill your space with a sweet lullaby
drawn from the music of angels
blanket you in my arms
that you begin to feel the warmth of my burning heart
I wish I could give you what I need the most .. and more

In all your poems, there is one element common – a quest and a beautiful one at that. Love this one!

Because you see so much more and you wish to show us more, as a reader I would like to show what you are:
It’s the dance of the heart
To the music of the soul,
It’s the singing of the mind
To the melody of the world,
That makes one a poet.
You are all that.
That will convince you, I believe 🙂

ahh one of those times when the comment is better than the poem itself..thank you so much Rex, I loved it! 😀 Its very kind of you to think that way. perhaps I am all that and I am nothing..always seen myself as dust at the Beloved’s door, nothing more..theres a contentment there in that knowing, I’m sure you know what I am talking about 🙂

WOW Himani ! Wow…. Beautiful indeed !
I use to wish for the same things believe me ! In the same way but it is just that I can’t express them so beautifully like you did !
My words won’t be enough to describe the beauty of it ! Love you the most 🙂 xx

that’s why i said, Why wish? why care who you are?
why not just keep on doing like you were until now, and forget about wishing, but just Do, and after you are done, Do some more, until your hands bleed, and happily, you fall on the floor 😀

if there is someone to pick you up, that would be the end of you, you will stop there(and that has a chance to be a bad thing, sometimes)
but if there is no one, you will fall down to the next floor, and continue doing your thing down there, and do it again, and again…
