eternal presence

your scent
fills the air
I breathe

your maddening caress
imbues the thoughts
I concieve

we’re galaxies apart

yet you are the one
throbbing
in each beat

I love the first two stanza’s especially — it shows how much the narrator depends/reacts to the the person they love. ❤

Someone once said – May you be loved to the point of madness. In human experience, love being conditional it is pretty rare.. but I can assure you when it comes to the Divine 🙂 thank you for stopping by ❤

A cosmic union, a bond that remains strong no matter the supposed distance.

    Dear Himani,

Thank you for this! The words and art are beautiful.

Maddening caress…what a powerful expression. I like how this poem conveys that there seems to be an immeasureable distance, but yet He is ever-present in the heart.

    All good wishes,

    robert
