profound meeting
the soul lights up
when it comes across
a sincere emotion
the fire in the eyes
the sun in each spark
burns away the shadows
of seeming separation

Yes, yes and… yes! Our souls do light up when we truly encounter another person. How many times we hear at a checkout, like when shopping, “How are you?” . It is more a routine. But when we honesty share, aha! That’s it!

It´s true, I wouldn´t be passing by your blog just to read something bad, I already have my own blog to read bad nutty things.

What a lovely poem and picture. Sincerity is always needed in feeling connected. I agree.

Thank you so much, appreciate it 🙂 and reading your comment somehow reminded me of a Rumi quote – If words come out of the heart, they will enter the heart, but if they come from the tongue, they will not pass beyond the ears.
Have a beautiful day!

Dear Himani,
Thank you very much for this. The words and art…I very much like them!
I like how you’ve noted “seeming” separation. Awareness is such a funny thing in how it tells us that we are alone when, truly, we are far from that.
All good wishes,
robert

Very true, Robert. It is indeed the walls we build in our heads, forgetting we all have the same essence. Thank you so much for being here with your insightful comment, much much appreciated 🙂 Wishing you the best, always!

Reminds me of a poem I posted yesterday, about how many adults are separated from their inner children. Awesome poem and picture combination 🙂

Ah yes, its sad how we are primed to act ‘mature’ and are repressed not to express too much. May we remember and tend to our inner child 🙂 Thank you so much for sharing that and dropping by, wishing you a beautiful one ahead!
