liquid sunshine

Posted on Updated on

raindrops
on the window pane
thunderclouds
drifting through the rain

in the vicinity of object of desire,
and the beauty it inspires
absorbed in crimson hues
and gentle eyes
I don’t have slightest clue
of where the time flies

taken aback by illuminated secret,
giving birth to spirit anew
I feel the tender kiss of Universe,
silently, invisibly saying –
‘here’s a gem, carved just for you’

living life in these perfect moments
is always such a delight
when I know that one day
this love is going to take my life

    Dear Himani,

Thank you very much for this work of art. I love the words, and the accompanying photo is so very nice with water, earth, tree, and light.

What a great day it is when *that* love takes our life.

    All good wishes,

    robert

Sunny Delight? Kidding, beautiful poem. It used imagery that has personal meaning to me, like ‘here’s a gem, carved just for you’ in regards to an engagement ring with a fire blue spinal in it, that I once gave to a girl whose MySpace name is Sunspot, who I’ve written about much over the years playing off that name. She gave the ring back this past February, but she waited until she had moved on with her life. 😦

Thank you, appreciate that. And I am sorry to hear about how it triggered those memories for you. But life has a strange way of working things out esp. whats best for us..keep the faith. I wish you the very best, I really do. Much love!

What would the world look like if we all were able to reveal ourselves in such a way? Would there be peace within all of us? Could we once again marvel at the divine?

Perhaps 🙂 Revealing oneself makes one vulnerable, not the most comfortable feeling Doug. I guess thats why people build walls around them and are so guarded. This blog is just a humble attempt to remove at least some of them 🙂 Thank you for being here and sharing your insightful comment, appreciate it!
