‽
don’t be afraid to show
what you know
what you hold inside
whats kept hidden
suffocates, slowly dies
or worse what you make visible
will be perceived as a lie
only the truth that is burning well
will help you survive
a deeper knowing, a fearless thought
a feeling that consumes alive
say what is on your mind
while you’re still full of life
let go, love, express, ignite
it is definitely worth a try
my love, don’t be shy
no breath comes out of a dead self
not even a sigh!

This is awesome, and an ethos I believe we should all live by. I’m really enjoying your concise but flowing style, Himani. Thanks for sharing it!

Egyrészt mert rímel az Andi barátnőm által ma reggel megosztott sorokra, másrészt meg mert így, ahogy van tökéletes.

Dear Himani,
Thank you for this beautiful poem.
What a powerful statement…”no breath comes out of a dead self.”
This poems brings alive that fact that that we may step out of the way of the River, letting her flow as she wills.
I very much like the art.
I remember (I believe it was Mawlana Rumi) the teaching, “Be as you are!” Your beautiful poem brings this to mind, with the “are” being a deeper are than just the skin of our heart.
All good wishes,
robert

Thank you dear Robert, for your kind words and beautiful insight 🙂 What a great reminder from Rumi! Being an introvert, I have struggled with communicating my feelings..still a work in progress as you can see from this self-talk 😉 Appreciate you here, as always!
p.s. you were a little late in stopping by and leaving a comment and believe me, for a moment, my heart skipped a beat 😛

ah I must have written it for both of us Scott! ♥ this literally burst out of me within a matter of few minutes..a part of monologue, attempt to remind myself of importance of speaking my heart and not keeping things to myself 🙂 glad to hear it resonated with you..much love and light!

We all need to step away from here once in a while, Himani. I don’t do it enough. When I get my gardens up and going, you won’t see me as much on here. So, I am enjoying my friends while I can. Gardening is very time consuming. And once in that world, I really don’t want to be here. If you know what I mean. Love, Amyi
