I like this! Reminds me of 5 lines from a poem of my own I wrote and posted 2 days ago –

“It’s moments like this you will never forget
And the seconds keep on soldiering on
As my soul sings it’s song
While I strum my heat’s strings
As it beats like a drum”

Your lovely words immediately made me think of something by Hazrat Amir Khusraw:

“Love came and spread like blood in my veins and the skin of me.

It filled me with the Friend and completely emptied me.

The Friend has taken over all parts of my existence.

Only my name remains, as all is He.”
