very chilling nice — warmly chilling (in me – as it occurs now) like a love song that challenges the concepts of ego – I ramble at times. Liked it,
Happy Holidays.

how beautiful is this burning. it flickers and vanishes yet the essence never goes out being fed by an eternal flame. thank you for sharing that Michael, really nice to hear that 🙂
A shadow am I
Cast by that which I am
An inferior replica
Of a much greater man
I aspire to be
And have already been
Reborn with each sun
As shadow again
A beautiful thought you present, dear. Inspiring and concise. I will read it more than once.
and what is that shade, that darkness but varying levels of light? 🙂 the sun is always there. maybe sometimes, the clouds come and go casting a shadow but the sun is always there .. within you
that was beautiful Tam, your words are such a poetic delight to read! thank you for sharing those lovely lines, appreciate them here in this space 🙂
For being nothing, your contribution to me is something special. Growing up I was told only a divine can make something out of nothing, therefore I consider you evidence of such.
Are you covering rebirths as well? That is how I understood it. Because if each life is treated as an appearance, the realisation of bliss has to be worked out each time.
my dearest Rex, I don’t know what I am covering lol whatever flows, through I post it here sometimes. and I have never really analyzed after writing. perhaps I was referring to the Higher presence as bliss. once you have tasted it, the worldly affairs lose appeal 🙂
Nirvana in mind is unchangeable,
Even when appearances are made no appearances are made
In that way there is never a return and yet we indeed return
because all that is appearance only is empty of substance and yet here we are appearing like the moon in the water, here and yet not here, calm in bliss as a reflection of the moon in still waters =)
***I couldn’t help but add my piece onto this wonderful poem, I hope you don’t mind. Take care Himani.
you nailed it down so beautifully, Mikial..I am amazed!
thank you so much for sharing and adding that, I delight in fresh perspectives 🙂 wish you the best, thanks again!
