divine ushering
take me to the place
where peaceful waters flow
where rain glistens on the leaves
a cool, gentle breeze blows
where the keys unlock
unleashing pure understanding
appealing to my parched senses
giving each breath, a new meaning
take me to that shore far away
where rapture and love washes the sand
with each crashing wave
where hopeful hours and innocent kisses
fill a careless day
with you, take me to the heights
where we can soar
two souls, spilling untamed joy
in a laughing sky
seeking nothing more

Beautiful poem … but about it’s message – what I see to be in it’s message – can anyone take you to a place like the one you dream? Can something outside yourself take you there?
Just asking myself and you 🙂

Thank you Barbara, you are so kind. I am not sure about wisdom..still a kid at heart trying to understand this world, to learn from experiences and to be more in tune with the Beloved, universe and my own sacred self 🙂 *hugs*

My inner child is alive and well. It is a good thing. I am 63 and I am still the best toy for my grandchildren. You are in tune as am I. Remember, you are a child of the Universe. Hugs, Barbara

I like the parched senses and the ending.
Did you mean “wash” because it’s plural for the double subject?
where rapture and love washes
