delusional veil
what a world of illusion you created
a world of maya
where forgetfulness and confusion is the norm
and people seek comfort in each other
trying protecting their wounds
taking each step with caution
not realizing all of us are beggars
with torn clothes and broken hearts
looking for the same gem
like a child
who is given toys
as a distraction
you filled the world
with forms and colors
shapes and feelings
that people spend their whole lives
to own, tolerate and as a tool to find meaning
one person’s hell
is another’s heaven
stepping on each others whims and desires
most people wander around with chains
tied around their necks and bodies
like slaves pulled in all directions
by society, by their own dreams
yet handful, just a handful
the lucky ones, the chosen ones
find liberation, find freedom
while trapped in this body
in this web of delusion!

Life is experienced inside the mind which is why it’s pointless to fall in love with the world of matter when what matters most is hidden within yourself!

True, very true poetic. To live in this world and not be of it, as you know, is not an easy thing. Looking within, searching, polishing. Here’s to what matters the most!

There is such truth in this that I felt compelled to share it. A grim look at our reality, but an inspiration to create something better. Beautiful words!

Greetings,
Thank you very much for this lovely poem.
It speaks to me of the world as both prison and, at the same time, a manifestation of the Divine. It’s in rubble that we’ll find the jewel.
Thanks again.
All good wishes,
robert

Hearty greetings Robert, its my pleasure to share. I agree with you, it is in ruins that one often finds treasure. may we be guided and blessed to look for it in the right direction. Thank you and as always, I wish you the best!

These words that come through you are very beautiful. I most like how you stated in your “about” how credit for the “good” that comes through is from beyond, and anything else is just “you”. Something I feel myself, but forget sometimes. Glad to be connected to you in this way.
