soft interlude

Posted on Updated on

every thought of you
dawns like a blessing
lost in the chase
I often run into you

you brush me by
whispering love
breathing life
through my every pore

my cashmere paradise

I love the contrast between this poem and the previous post about fiery, passionate love; it really shows how many faced love can appear

Exactly! Love, like people, matures over time. When it is young and new it burns with a hot fire and longs to be wild and impulsive but as it grows it becomes calmer with a deepening depth of understanding and an appreciation for subtle nuances!

aha! very well put, i resonate with every word. with that knowing and understanding, I crave for a love that has a rugged exterior but is soft at the core.. a flame that burns too deep for the winds to tame
